Pending Major Parks Projects
The Parks Department has many pending projects on its agenda.
Replace the defective basketball hoops with ones that basketballs can actually fit through.
Convert the pipes from the old sewage plant into a skate park.
Clean the graffiti off the bottom of the Lewis Community Center pool (and figure out how it got there).
Make all playground sets tornado-proof.
Create artificial lake - Lake Gunderson - in Ramsett Park and transport dirt to undisclosed location in Eagleton.
Remove gum from all seesaws, and use glue to repair them this time.
Place more "no parking" signs on the Ramsett Park tennis courts.
Repair the monkey bars in Tucker Park. Or clean out the pit underneath them.
Separate old car tires from actual tire swings in Circle Park.
